Megan Thee Stallion has been all over the rap game in 2020 with a load of smash hits leading up to her debut album “Good News” and the self-proclaimed “Hood Mona Lisa” has not disappointed.

Megan kicks off the album with “Shots Fired” which is her own spin-off of the Notorious BIG’s “Who Shot Ya?”. “Imagine n***a’s lying about shooting a real bitch” within seconds of her album Megan is already firing shots at Tory Lanez regarding their incident at a nightclub in July where Tory Lanez shot her in the foot after an argument. If Tory’s career wasn’t already about to be over than Megan just did it for him, no one is safe from what Megan can do on a track.

“Girls In The Hood” is going to be on a lot of playlists all summer, Megan has again tapped into rap history with her version of Easy E’s “Boyz in the Hood” which has Megan running rampage all over the track stating that she doesn’t need any man and she isn’t going to cater to any guy.

One thing Megan Thee Stallion has consistently shown us all year is that regardless of who she features with she never stands down or lets herself be overshadowed. Megan has the likes of Da Baby, Young Thug and even Beyonce on the Savage remix but despite being a young artist she never lets the spotlight be taken off her with her hard and fast bars along with clever wordplay.

Megan Thee Stallion is a bonafide superstar and if you don’t know now you know. Megan hits “Good News” with full energy and force but also doesn’t rely on her album to be carried by features, Megan is about to run this rap game and there is nothing that can be done about it, this is just the beginning for her.
