DJ Khaled, Kendrick Lamar Lead BET Awards 2018 Nominations

DJ Khaled leads the nominees for this year’s BET Awards.

The hip-hop mogul scores six nods including Video of the Year for “Wild Thoughts,” his collaboration with Rihanna and Bryson Tiller, plus two for Best Collaboration (“Wild Thoughts” and “Top Off” with JAY-Z, Future, and Beyoncé). Additionally, he is up for Album of the Year (Grateful) and the Coca-Cola Viewer’s Choice Award.

Kendrick Lamar follows with five nominations including Best Collaboration with Rihanna for “LOYALTY.,” Video of the Year (“Wild Thoughts”), Album of the Year (DAMN.), and Viewers’ Choice (“HUMBLE.”).

Other top nominees include Migos, nominated for four awards including Album of the Year (Culture II) and Best Group, and SZA, who is nominated for four awards including Best Female R&B/Pop Artist and Best New Artist.

Cardi B also earns major honours including Video of the Year for “Bodak Yellow” and Best Female Hip-Hop Artist, for which she will face off against Nicki Minaj, Remy Ma, DeJ Loaf, and Rapsody.

The BET Awards 2018 will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, June 24.
