Post Malone & Ariana Grande Lead American Music Awards Nominations
Post Malone leads the nominees for the American Music Awards.
Posty is the most nominated artist this year with seven total nominations, including Artist of the Year, Collaboration of the Year, and Favourite Male Artist – Rap/Hip-Hop.
Ariana Grande and Billie Eilish follow with six nods each including Favourite Music Video, Favourite Social Artist, Favourite Female Artist – Pop/Rock, and Favourite Album – Pop/Rock.
Lil Nas X and Taylor Swift are tied with five nominations each, followed by Khalid, Ella Mai, and Billy Ray Cyrus with four each.
Artist of the Year nominees includes Drake, Grande, Halsey, Malone, and Swift, while Lil Nas X, Lizzo, Eilish, and Ella Mai vie for New Artist of the Year.
In the Rap/Hip-Hop categories, Cardi B, Drake, and Post Malone score nominations for Favourite Artist, while Meek Mill (Championships), Post Malone (Hollywood’s Bleeding), and Travis Scott (Astroworld) earn nods for Favourite Album.
The 2019 American Music Awards will broadcast live from the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on Sunday, Nov. 24.
