Watch Freddie Gibbs & Madlib's Tiny Desk Concert

NPR’s Tiny Desk series has been popular for a while now and many fan bases hope that it’s part of their favourite artists’ press runs. When Freddie Gibbs and Madlib put out their second collaborative album Bandana earlier this year, this was the case, especially after the pair did an incredible Boiler Room set.

Today, wishes come true. The pair performed ‘Education’, ‘Gat Damn‘, ‘Soul Right’ and ‘Freestyle Sh*t’ with El Michels Affair, a vintage funk and soul band based out of New York that Madlib insisted on playing with, which actually delayed the concert a bit.

The set is a great one and Gibbs’ charisma shines through on it. Check out the full performance above.
