Chris Brown claims the top spot on the Billboard 200 once again, with Indigo debuting at #1, moving 108,000 equivalent album units in its first week.

Albums charting on the Billboard 200 are ranked weekly based on multi-metric consumption. Units include traditional album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).

According to Billboard, Indigo’s opening week saw great support from streaming activity, totalling 76,000 SEA units, equating to over 97 million-on demand audio streams.

Supported by concert tickets to support his upcoming “INDIGOAT” tour as well as merchandising bundles, 28,000 of the album units were pure sales.

All of Brown’s albums have debuted in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 consecutively. Indigo marks the R&B superstar’s third time leading the chart since his Grammy winning album F.A.M.E. in 2011 and his Grammy nominated album Fortune in 2012.

Breezy has spent majority of his week atop multiple charts, reaching #1 on Rolling Stone’s “Artists 500” and #1 on Rolling Stone’s “Top 200 Albums” chart.

With Indigo only being available for a week, the album is now eligible for GOLD certification for moving 500,000 units inside the US due to pre-released singles.

The latest single, “No Guidance” featuring Drake currently remains in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.
