After facing off with Joe Budden on Queen Radio, Minaj paid a visit to “The Joe Budden Podcast,” where she put Rick Ross on blast for disrespecting her on his 2017 song ‘Apple of My Eye.’

“I told Meek I wouldn’t trust Nicki / Instead of beefin’ with your dog, you just give ’em some distance,” rapped Rozay on the track off his album Rather You Than Me.

When asked whether she prefers Ross or The Game, Nicki lashed out at the Maybach Music boss. “Don’t bring up that… Don’t get me fuckin’ started. Anybody that name drops a female to sell 250 albums, don’t ever bring them up to me again,” she said. “Outside of that, I look at people being stand up ni**as and I look at who fold quick and who do clown shit for attention when they dropping an album. I won’t even go there.”

In April 2016, she went to the White House, along with Ross, to meet with President Obama. During their visit, she spoke to Obama on behalf of her then-boyfriend Meek, who was on probation at the time in his controversial case. Despite her show of support for Meek, Ross’ “Apple of My Eye” lyric caught her off guard.

“When a grown-ass fucking man name drops a woman and disses a woman to sell an album, when I was the only person in your artist’s corner when everyone turned their back on them, when everyone was calling them Twitter fingers and cracking up laughing at them,” she began.

Following her meeting with Obama, Ross told Meek that Nicki was a “keeper.” “I went and sat down in a meeting with Obama, President Obama, and Ross was there and texted dude after the meeting and said, ‘Yo, this chick is a keeper,'” she said. “I saw the text myself with my own eyes, ‘This chick is a keeper.’ She went in a room full of rappers and spoke to Obama and the first thing out of her mouth was about you and figuring out your probation situation and why you’re still on probation after all these years.”

So she was surprised to hear him diss her on his album. “And then you come out on an album, when it’s time to sell some sell weak-ass fucking album and try to disrespect Nicki Minaj. What? And now you tried to disrespect 50, hoped 50 would respond to your nonsense this time? Boy, sit your fat ass down.”
