EP Review: A$AP Ferg - Floor Seats

It seems like it’s been forever since we’ve heard Ferg in the music spotlight. Since his last project ‘Still Striving,’ Ferg has a formula for high energy songs to the get the crowd and party going. On this project ‘Floor Seats’ it’s no different. Ferg seems to completely craft this formula to perfection as each song is a high energy banger that will definitely be pre game music for every sport this upcoming season. From the first song ‘Floor Seats’ that lets the listener know whats in store.

Although every song is high energy, doesn’t mean that every song is exactly the same. Songs like ‘Wam’ with MadeinTYO and my personal favourite ‘Pup’ with Rocky are definitely single worthy records. Songs that gets the listener hype for any situation. New York is spewing out of this project and I love it.

With only 9 tracks to this project there isn’t much room for error but Ferg indeed delivers on most of these tracks. Towards the end of the project Ferg takes a small detour with Ty Dolla $ign and Brent Faiyaz singing infectious hooks that complement Ferg’s deep voiced raps.
