As previously reported, Tekashi 6ix9ine took the stand in a New York City courtroom on Tuesday (September 17). The controversial rapper testified against alleged Nine Trey Gangsta Blood members Anthony “Harv” Ellison and Aljermiah “Nuke” Mack.

Prosecutors believe Ellison kidnapped and robbed 6ix9ine last July. The defence claims the kidnapping was staged and compared it to the infamous Jussie Smollett case.

Ellison and Mack were indicted as part of the federal racketeering case that led to 6ix9ine’s arrest last year. Both men were also charged with firearms offences.

Earlier this month, 6ix9ine’s ex-manager Kifano “Shotti” Jordan was sentenced to 15 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of firearm possession during a crime and one count of firearm discharge during a crime. He was one of the accused Nine Trey members arrested on federal charges last November.

While 6ix9ine was in court, he reportedly mentioned Trippie Redd, a former collaborator-turned-rival.

According to reporter Matthew Russell Lee, who is live-tweeting from the court, 6ix9ine alleged that Trippie was once a member of a gang.

"Trippie Redd was part of Five Nine Brims, Hernandez testifies," writes Lee, who refers to Tekashi by his government name of Daniel Hernandez.
