Shoreline Mafia Affiliate Mac P Dawg Shot & Killed
Mac P Dawg was reportedly gunned down in Los Angeles on Tuesday night. The Shoreline Mafia affiliate, who recently collaborated with Doley Bernays on “Salt Shaker,” was only 23 years old.
Shoreline Mafia members Ohgeesy and Fenix Flexin confirmed Mac’s death and paid tribute to the late rapper on social media.
“LUV U FOREVER,” Ohgeesy wrote. “Speechless bro love u always, macpforever,” Fenix posted on Instagram, along with a series of photos.
The news arrives shortly after Fenix had announced he was going to leave Shoreline Mafia after the group’s next album.
“Got nun but love for my ni**as Nd what we’ve accomplished but this new album will be my last with shoreline as a group,” he’d written on Twitter. “Moving forward w my individual career Nd visions for myself Nd where I wanna be.”
Born in East Hollywood, Mac first met Fenix in high school and began making music. He and Fenix released their collaborated single “Half N Half” in 2017. Last year, Mac teamed up with Ohgeesy for another hit called, “Let Me Know.”
